With the rise in the cost of living, we understand that this winter will be challenging. That’s why we’re opening up the building every Saturday over December, January, February and March to provide a warm and welcoming space with free food, games, refreshments, films, help and more.
A space to find warmth, community & help.
You are welcome to join us for as little or long as you’d like between 10:30am and 4pm. We’re open every Saturday from December 2023 until March 2024 here at our church building – 77 The Strand. You don’t need to sign up, just come along on the day.
What happens at Warm Space?
Warm Space is a free and relaxed space for you to get warm. Feel free to bring along a book or your own things to do.
They’ll also be people around to chat about more ways we can help, activities and games, the occasional movie showing, free simple food for lunch, and plenty of tea, coffee and refreshments.
Everyone is welcome – there’s activities and fun for all-ages, but kids must be accompanied by parents or caregivers.
Volunteer at Warm Space
We have various different roles available, these could be for a whole day, or for just a few hours, it may even be in providing support with a skill or hobby you love, like crochet, fixing things, hair cuts, tech skills, form filling, baking, plant or bike repair, basically anything you can think of!
