Bags of Hope Cafe

Our Bags of Hope Cafe runs over most Thursdays in school holidays for families facing holiday hunger. Come along for a bag of ingredients for a healthy family meal, and stay for a cuppa, cake and a chat – all completely free.

The last one of the year will be on Thursday 19th December.

Open For All

On Thursdays in the school holidays our cafeĢ is open between 10am and 1pm with free tea, coffee and cake ā€“ and plenty of people to chat with. Everyone is welcome, even if you just fancy a cuppa and don’t need a bag of food this time. There’s usually tables of food and household items for you to take as you need.

Our last Bags of Hope Cafe of the year will be on Thursday 19th December.

Get involved

Bags of Hope is one way our church tries to support our local community and we welcome you to be a part of this. You can do so in two ways:

If you are in a position to give, we collect food donations for our Bags of Hope cafeĢ at the entrance to our church building on The Strand. We’re open Sunday to Monday and we’d be really happy to receive your donation – in the words of a famous brand every little really does help.

Maybe you’re at a time in your life when you need to receive. That’s why we’re here. If you’d like support for you and your family then please sign up for your Bag of Hope.
