Sundays
Sunday ServicesA church is like a family. At Maybridge, we’re a church made up of people from all walks of life. We meet at different times, but we share a love of Jesus, a desire to follow Him and show His love to our community.
Join us on Sundays
We’d love for Maybridge to be a place you feel at home. We gather across three services, at various times on Sundays, each with a different style, so there’s something to suit everyone.
Find a serviceWhat to expect
Encountering a new group of people who all know each other and all know what is going on can feel intimidating. There are people who would love to welcome you and help you understand what is happening and why. If you have any questions, get in touch at info@maybridge.org.uk.
Although each of service has a different feel – most elements of all our services are the same and include: prayer (talking to God); worship (which can be either a reflection or singing songs of praise and thanks to God) and a sermon (a talk) by the minister or a member of the church.
Every so often we share Communion together. This is where everyone is given a small piece of bread and a small cup of wine (we use juice) to remember Jesus’ sacrificial death. This is generally reserved for those who have made a decision to be followers of Jesus, so you should feel free to opt out if you’re not sure about it all. You won’t be asked to do or say anything you feel unsure about.
We’re quite informal and relaxed at Maybridge – there’s no expectation of you to look or talk a certain way.
